The 2023 Technical Committee meetings which held from April 8 to 12, 2024, Libreville, was marked by the celebrations of the fiftieth anniversary of OPRAG (Gabon’s Port Authority). The successes and performances of this first half century of existence of this public industrial and commercial establishment created in 1974 were displayed.
The contributions of former Director Generals, including Mr. Claude Damas Ozimo, its first Director General and Mr. Rigobert Ikambouayat Ndeka, General Director from 2009 to 2018, were applauded. Several port workers received medals for their work.
The current Director General, Mr. Martin Boguikouma, who doubles as President of PMAWCA and Executive President of PAPC, described the major axes of OPRAG’s future vision, such as energy transformation and digitalization, among others.
