Demise of former Secretary General of PMAWCA Mrs. Mireille Francine BACKO
The Secretariat wishes too inform the Association about the sudden demise of Mrs. Mireille Francine BACKO, former employee of Douala Port Authority, and former Secretary General of PMAWCA from 2004 to 2008. She died on 9th March 2018 in Douala (Cameroon).
On behalf of PMAWCA, the Secretary General, accompanied by representatives from the Port of Lome (Togo), the Port Abidjan (Cote d’Ivoire) and the Port Conakry (Guinea) attended the final funeral and burial ceremony held in her village in Cameroon on 31st March 2018.
PMAWCA expresses its condolences to particularly the Port of Douala as well as to the family she left behind.
