It is with deep sadness that the the Port Management Association of West and Central Africa (PMAWCA) inform the West and Central African Port Community of the passing of Mr. Jean Martin TATY, which occurred on February 23, 2025, in Libreville.
As a former executive staff of the Gabonese Ports and Harbors Authority (OPRAG), Mr. Jean Martin TATY was one of the delegates who left his mark on the activities of our Association. He knew how to combine conviviality with rigor and rare elegance, making the PMAWCA statutory meetings both serious and memorable occasions.
Those who had the privilege of knowing him will long remember his infectious enthusiasm and warm presence.
In this time of sorrow, the PMAWCA Secretariat extends its sincere condolences to his grieving family, loved ones, and all the staff of OPRAG.
May his soul rest in peace.
