The PMAWCA Secretariat hereby informes the port communities of West and Central Africa of the call for expressions of interest (EOI) regarding the *recruitment of a regional data analyst for the African Ports Connectivity Portal strategic project.
The African Development Bank (AfDB) is providing full financing for this continental project, intended for the three partner port associations: PMAWCA, PMAESA, and UAPNA.
This ambitious project aims to develop three essential components:
- The African Port Connectivity Portal,
- The updated Databook 2024 Ports Database,
- The African Ports Index.
Upon implementation, each Association will have a Regional Portal hosted on its premises. For PMAWCA, this portal will be installed at the General Secretariat located in Lagos, Nigeria.
This present communication concerns the recruitment of a highly qualified Data Analyst who will work at the Association’s Headquarters in Lagos, Nigeria. A detailed job description, including required qualifications and responsibilities, is provided in the attached document.

- Expected contract duration: 12 months, starting in May 2025.
